Watersplash Jersey 2026: Summer Music on St Ouen's Bay

Watersplash is Jersey's iconic beach club at St Ouen's Bay with a west-facing sunset terrace. The 2026 programme runs every weekend May–September: 5.05 Fridays, classic Saturdays, top-DJ Sundays, plus headline nights like the Space Ibiza Terrace Party. Free entry to most sessions.

What is the Watersplash?

"The Splash" is a 60-year-old beach bar that has anchored Jersey's west-coast nightlife since the 1960s surf boom. The deck looks straight out across the 5-mile sweep of St Ouen's Bay — by general island agreement, the best sunset view on Jersey. Live music, DJs, food on the terrace, and a beach right outside.

2026 Summer programme — what runs every week

• 5.05 Fridays — DJs spin on the terrace from 5.05 pm to sundown. Free entry. The end-of-week ritual for half of St Helier.
• Classic Saturdays — selected Saturdays, acoustic sets, DJs and bands playing 70 years of sound. Free.
• Splash Sundays — top Jersey DJs taking the terrace into the sunset. Free.
• Open Mic Thursdays — first Thursday of each month, 7 pm start at the Main Bar.

• The Big Ride Out — Sunday 24 May 2026, live music from 88BunkFace plus Craig Alder & friends for Splash Sunday.
• Space Ibiza Terrace Party — featuring Cafe Mambo's Doctor Feelgood and Space Ibiza legend Alex P, 4 pm – 10 pm. The longest terrace session ever hosted at the Splash.

How to get to the Watersplash

The Watersplash is at Le Chemin du Catel, La Grande Route des Mielles, St Ouen JE3 7FN. It's a 10-minute drive from Jersey Airport (JER), 15 minutes from St Helier.

The on-site car park fills early on Friday and Sunday evenings. Pre-booking a return taxi is the smart move — the bay has no nearby rank and walk-up Uber availability is patchy after 10 pm. Book the round trip in advance at ohotaxis.com; free child seats included if you're bringing a group.

What to expect

The terrace overlooks Le Braye beach. Surfers paddle out 30 metres in front of the deck through summer, which gives an almost unfair view-while-you-drink. Sunset times in Jersey: 9.20 pm in June, 9.00 pm in July, 8.20 pm in August — plan to arrive 90 minutes before sunset for a kerb-rail spot.

Food: beachfront menu, oven pizzas, fish and chips, sharers. Drinks: full bar, well-stocked summer cocktail list. Dress is beach-casual — flip-flops accepted right through, swim shorts ok before sundown.

On-site car park is small. It fills by 6 pm on Fri/Sun. Most regulars taxi in and out.

Can children come?

Daytime and early-evening sessions are family friendly. After 9 pm the DJ sets take over and it's a 21+ crowd in practice.

How late does it go?

The terrace winds down between 10 and 11 pm depending on the event. The Main Bar runs later for headline nights.
